I had to take Juliet in to the Special Infant Care Clinic today to meet with a nephralogist b/c her blood pressure has been a wee bit high as of late.
Let me break this down…
Good: Her Blood pressure is mostly fine. It is slightly elevated but not nearly as high as it has been at our Pediatrician’s office. I believe the Ped’s equipment is a bit outdated for such a tiny human.

My girl cat, Harley, will come RUNNING into the kitchen anytime she hears the can opener. (manual can opener, might I add.) Lately she’s had to leave disappointed b/c I’m almost always opening a can of black beans b/c I just need to make nachos, again. But this time, this time she reaped her rewards.

Adult FAIL update
For the first time, ever, in my life, I seemed to have caught this problem early enough to take action.
I went in and canceled my automatic payments and did a one-time payment for each of our car payments. Even though I have to eat $10 in convenience fees, the total of the payments for this month makes it so that we won’t overdraft.
Thank goodness I overpay on our car loans and was able to...
Adult FAIL
Even though I was very careful about our check register this month, we still seem to be $15.44 short of what we need in our bank account before our car payments come out on Thursday.
And of course, Dan gets paid on Friday.
Keeping my fingers crossed that we get some Christmas money in the mail this week!
